PUREBRED PASSION

‘Purebred Passion’

"Purebred Passion" is a documentary that invites viewers into the competitive spirit of "The Great American Dog Show", a weekend-long dog-show competition held at Chicago's McCormick Place Convention Center. Taking place in August of 2023, The documentary focuses on two distinctly different competitors: Laura & Robin - a team of professionals who have decades of combined experience on the dog show circuit, and Caroline - an owner-handler who lives with her 12 dogs, and has been competing for over 30 years.

⁤The film explores the meticulous canine preparation process, strategies behind each performance, and the deep bond between handlers and their dogs. ⁤⁤⁤⁤From grooming rituals to the competitive spirit, it offers a humorous and informative insight into the unique world of dog-showing.

⁤"Purebred Passion" celebrates the diverse communities at the heart of dog shows, emphasizing the love, passion, and mutual respect between competitors and their pups, regardless of the competition's outcome. ⁤⁤This tribute to the world of dog shows aims to excite and enlighten enthusiasts and newcomers alike, with special attention paid to the beautiful relationships between humans and their canine companions."
