The AfterImage Film Festival is an annual celebration of independent film held in the Fox Valley region of Illinois. Founded in 2018, we present critically-acclaimed features, shorts, documentaries, and foreign language titles to passionate audiences. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, and your support keeps this festival focused entirely on the films that matter.

The Hollis Family Award
Each year, the AfterImage Film Festival presents the Hollis Family Award to a standout film that embodies the spirit of independent cinema: a work that challenges, inspires, and leaves a lasting impression on audiences. Named in honor of the Hollis family for their dedication to the arts, this award celebrates the power of storytelling at its finest.
